There are many different finishes and techniques possible. From the quick black and white drawing, popular at events, to the minutely detailed illustration where many elements are brought into play. Drawings can be made from photos or live subjects.
Where a photo is used, the quality is of paramount importance - a poor quality photo can only mean a poor quality drawing. Ideally, several photos should be available, clear, recent and, above all, close up!
